Coaching

I believe each actor has to find his or her own style. I offer tips and methods to get you off the page and be alive, spontaneous, and natural in your work. I help you learn how to break down the script, master that first beat, and direct yourself. As a working professional, I am committed to preparing actors for the real world. That means being honest, practical and pushing you to your best.

As a coach, my goal for you is to learn your strengths and weaknesses as an actor, as well as understand the business of acting. I want to see you grow your talents, your instincts, your on-camera technique. And then I want you to forgot about getting it right…What? Yup—play. Risk. Trust that you are enough and have something to contribute as you. I want you to bring the uniqueness of you to the role, creating an emotionally connected and dynamic performance.

As the entertainment industry evolves and technology forces us into a more rapid scrutiny, I believe it is important for actors to learn a new set of survival skills. As a working actor in this business, I understand the pressures, old and new.I focus on how to "book the room" meaning book that office, so they keep bringing you back. There are many variables that affect whether or not you get a job:  the right look, the right height, the right size -- so many things that an actor cannot control. Your job is to be relaxed, polished and professional. I can help you calm your nerves, gain confidence, and get noticed. I combine the craft of on-camera with the business. I guide you to work at the highest professional level, whether it’s an audition or stepping onto set.
